| Apparently the sequence involves galloping towards a castle, which is to be on Gateholm Island. The castle will be added by the magic of CGI - when Merlin was filmed at the Deer Park they constructed Camelot around the coastguard hut, but the National Park wouldn't let them put anything in the ground - so it blew down! |
@MrSimonWood posted a few set pictures during his visit at the Marloes Sands. He provided descriptions with the pictures and provides an introduction about his visit as follows:
"For four days filming on Marloes Sands at the end of September 2011, a ramp is being constructed onto the beach and "headquarters" are being set up in the field to the east of Sandy Lane. I won't be here for the days of the filming, but I've taken some pictures of the preparations."

| Facilities for the Movie Not sure what the giant marquee is for. But with 80 horses and hundreds of people, and probably only a couple of hours either side of high tide when there's enough sand there's probably a use for it... |

| Lights Low tides will be around mid-day and midnight at the time of the filming. I'd assumed it's a day shoot. But there'll probably be folk onsite 24/7. |
