STEWART & PATTINSON ONE OF HOLLYWOOD'S TOP EARNING SCREEN COUPLES

Forbes lists its Top-Earning On Screen Couples in film and Kristen Stewart along with Robert Pattinson came in at #2. Forbes obtained its information from the box office totals compiled by Box Office Mojo.
Forbes analysis is a bit of a stretch since they selected Rupert Grint and Emma Watson as the #1 top earning couple. Did the 'Harry Potter' movies center on their relationship? Uh, no.
Daniel Radcliffe's 'Harry' and Bonnie Wright's 'Ginny' could have been included going by Forbes' "last four movies" premise. The Harry Potter films focus on the "trio" and not on the couple.
Forbes writes:
"Ranking second behind [Rupert] Grint and [Emma] Watson [with 4.2 billion for 8 films] is reported real-life couple Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, the stars of the Twilight franchise. All of the Twilight films to date have hit theaters in the last five years, earning $2.5 billion at the global box office. While the Harry Potter series is mostly about Potter’s journey, the Twilight franchise is centered on Stewart and Pattinson’s characters, the human Bella and the vampire Edward. In the most recent movie they got married, with disastrous results. They’ll have a chance to boost their earnings even more when the second part of the last book, Breaking Dawn, is released this coming November."
Both Stewart and Pattison have done an outstanding job considering that their tally is not made up of the higher 3D ticket prices or even mostly IMAX. Not bad, not bad at all.
